SegoSoft, which effectively represents the centrepiece of the SEGO® range, is complemented by a whole host of other products. Once the instruments have been sterilised, SegoLabel is used for the packaged goods. SegoAssign plus in turn creates the interface to the practice management systems, allowing assignment of the batches or instruments used to the digital patient file. The term “connectivity” is used to refer to the range of hardware solutions which establish the connection to our software.
Adaptors, cables and special hardware modules developed and produced in-house ensure that medical devices documented using our software can be connected up reliably.

Comcotec is well received
SegoSoft was the first product to obtain approval as a medical device, which is essential for being used to document the reprocessing in this field.
In addition, SegoSoft was also the first product in its sector to be awarded a certificate by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). This verifies that an independent state institution has checked and confirmed that SegoSoft con-forms with international security standards. The certificate also includes the processes used for digital signatures in particular. SegoSoft can thus be described as a defence insurance for the practitioner.
