The effects of digital transformation from all areas of healthcare have now rapidly penetrated practices. The increasing acceptance of digitization is also clearly noticeable in the doctor’s and dentist’s offices. The desire for web-based solutions has increased enormously compared to two years ago.

mySego® is the technical heart and the central and cross-system platform from Comcotec for all browser-based and platform-independent Sego products and applications.

All applications of the current and future platform-independent Sego4Star and Sego4Basic products are based on this server-based structure. All interactive functions, communication with the locally available modules and the user interface are based on this. The extensive ticket system with numerous automatic functionalities and the fully automatic warning and task system is based on mySego. The unique SegoAgent is also based on the intelligent and networked parameter monitoring on the mySego technology platform.

Local integration and subsequent communication with the server is carried out via the Sego4Basic / Sego4Star module.
This is placed locally in the practice and takes over the communication to the processing devices, regardless of which interface they have.

With the wide range of options offered by the mySego technology platform Sego4Star is the most comprehensive and intuitive tool for management of all the medical devices in the practice. All medical devices and instruments can be completely documented and traced. Inventory lists can be generated with one click. The close linkage of task and instrument management enables the display of service intervals and schedules for validation or STK as defined by the user and for processing. All relevant documents can also be found in the comprehensive archive and the special medical device list.

Sego4Star takes charge of the monitoring of all routine tests and required batch controls. Create additional checklists for all of your devices. mySego displays all tasks that must be completed to the responsible person at the right time.

Relax

Sego offers reliable documentation of the disinfection and sterilization process which can be traced precisely at any time. Recording in combination with electronically signed documents is indispensable for quality assurance and protects you against liability risks. Longterm preservation is ensured by the PDF/A-1 format, which is defined by the ISO 19005-1:2005 standard. The format is electronically signed and as such is tamperproof and thus legally valid. Rely on maximum data security.

Your data will be in european computer centres that are certified by international standards such as ISO 9001 for quality management systems and ISO/IEC 27001 for systems used for information security management.

The SegoAgent monitors all activities in the background and only becomes active if discrepancies are detected. It displays dialogues and warning messages based on the situation or offers help with, for example, release decisions.

Stay up to date. Updates are simple and quick for you. In the cloud and not in the practice. Our intelligent preventive system detects malfunctions and device failures immediately. Our two flat-rate service charges are kept simple and leave room for you to develop the practice and to make changes in your devices. Elementarer Bestandteil der Sicherheitsmerkmale in Sego® war schon immer die Orientierung an bestmöglichen Standards. Im Ergebnis verwenden ALLE Anwender von Sego® bereits heute ein System, dass in voller Konsequenz den genannten Anforderungen der aktuell veröffentlichten „Richtlinie nach § 75b SGB V über die Anforderungen zur Gewährleistung der IT-Sicherheit“ nicht nur entspricht, sondern diese in wichtigen Teilbereichen weit übertrifft.

Internet access

Internet access is required and is absolutely essential.



Provide email addresses for users

Each user requires a personal email address to activate their account and to be able to reset their password independently. When using an internal practice email address, it must be ensured that third parties cannot gain access to the account. We therefore recommend using a private email address, e.g. Gmail, which mySego® uses exclusively to perform the actions described above.



Always On

The module and hardware components must be permanently connected to a power supply.

During the commissioning process, the operator’s bank details will be requested. The annual fee for mySego® is collected by direct debit and includes the complete service.
